Support Worker/Carer– Winterbourne, Bristol (Flaxpits)

Full and Part Time Hours Available: 22.5 / 30 / 37.5 hours per week
The people living at Flaxpits House are looking to recruit staff to join their established team of Support Workers. Flaxpits House is a 24 hour service that supports 10 young people with learning disabilities and complex health and emotional needs.
Situated in Winterbourne the home is easily commutable from Bradley Stoke, Downend, Mangotsfield and Yate.
The people we support are especially looking for Support Workers who are willing to take part in; swimming, cycling, arts and crafts and horse riding as well as support with personal care. Each individual who lives at Flaxpits enjoys 1 to 1 support as part of their support packages, allowing you to get to know each person on an individual basis.
Due to the location of the home and the need to access activities within the local community, it is a requirement that staff are able to drive and are expected to drive the house vehicles.
Shifts are as follows:
- 7:00 to 14:30
- 14:00 to 21:30
- 21:30 to 07:30
- Staff are also expected to undertake "sleep-in" duties
