Personal Assistant- Bristol (Female only)
£8.39 per hour

up to 36 hours per week
We are recruiting a team of female personal assistants to support a young woman embarking on an exciting new chapter in her life.
After several years rehabilitation she is moving to a brand new flat and is looking for a team to join her on her journey to regain confidence and independence in her home and the community.
Our role will be to support and encourage her to achieve her goals in a person-centered way and at a pace that makes sense to her. We will also support her mental and physical health and wellbeing, which will involve multi-agency work and signposting to other organisations for additional input.
If you share in her interests of dance, dj-ing and music, have a good sense of humour and the following qualities…
• The ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Empathy and an understanding of person-centred approaches
• Professional communication with service users, team members, other agencies and organisations
• Basic IT skills and the willingness to learn to use assistive technology
• A willingness to support with personal care
• Ability and willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends

Full induction and values-based training will be provided to new employees, plus the opportunity to gain the Care Certificate
