Support Worker/Carer - Cotham, Bristol (HIllside)

1x 37.5 per week
1x 22 per week

We are a residential care home that currently provides support for 12 individuals with learning Disabilities, Down Syndrome and complex needs based in Cotham. Hillside House is a listed Edwardian property that provides lots of space and a beautiful setting to provide Person Centred Care to the people that live here. We are part of a thriving Community and are looking for a dedicated and creative team member to complement our proactive team.

We are looking to recruit two team members who is passionate about Person Centred Care. The individuals that live at Hillside House value calm and positive support staff that are willing to support them in the community to do the activities they love such as shopping, swimming and arts/crafts.

Essential Skills:

Anything essential/key to highlight from the job profile:
• That the applicant has some insight into the challenges facing individuals with Learning Difficulties and complex needs or be willing to learn.
• They will be working in a busy atmosphere with a diverse team therefore the ability to remain focussed and maintain good interpersonal skills is a must.
• Must be a driver.
