Personal Assistant- Supported Living, Bristol
Stoke Gifford & other Locations
£10.42 per hour
Personal Assistant Stoke Gifford, Bristol.
Ref No. SK512
Various shift patterns ranging from 6-10 hour shifts including sleep-ins and some weekend work.
“Hi, my name is Stephen and I am looking to recruit a personal assistant to support me in my own home in Stoke Gifford and to support me to access the community. You must be a car driver as I have my own car for you to drive. I am hoping to meet someone who shares the same interests as me; I like having a coffee in my local pub, train spotting and playing pool and skittles.
I’d like you to support me to maintain my independence and live life in a way that makes sense to me. Ideally, you’ll have a good sense of humour, be polite and respectful and a good listener. I have epilepsy and you must be patient, observant and happy to go at my pace and adapt to my daily routine. Sometimes this means just being available to support me should I need you.”
If you are the person described above and would you like to join our team supporting a gentleman with an autism spectrum condition and epilepsy to live independently in his own home and the community then please get in touch or apply below.
Due to the nature of this role it is initially being offered on a casual hourly paid basis but with the potential of a permanent contract following a successful probationary period. If interested, successful applicants will also be eligible for additional casual work in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
