Personal Assistant - Bishopston, Bristol
Supported Living Services
£8.39 per hour
Job Ref: JP/399
Every other Sunday - up to 32 hours per month, including sleep-ins
One Saturday per month - up to 16 hours, including sleep-in
Manor Road is a project that supports up to four young adults with learning disabilities, mental health issues and/or autism. Our role is to enable and support each individual using person centred approaches, to achieve greater independence. On a day-to-day basis this involves supporting people to achieve their goals and learn new skills, for example support with managing personal budgets, tenancies and daily living skills. In addition, we offer advice and signposting to other relevant agencies; e.g. to pursue education or gain employment, to access services to support health and wellbeing, etc. We strive to empower people to learn the skills to better manage their own lives before moving on.
We are looking for someone who can adapt to the needs of the individuals we support, to be able to respond quickly to how the service changes. As a lone worker, you should be able to manage your time effectively.
