Activities Coordinator – Swindon

Abbey House is looking for an Activities Co-ordinator who is can develop our activities programme to make us a service of choice, engage with internal and external people to develop a range of meaningful and engaging opportunities for our residents. Experience of activities work, planning and supervision would be an advantage.
Abbey House is a Care Home providing support to people who are frail and those who have a diagnosis of Dementia. We want our residents to maintain the interests that they already have wherever possible and to develop new interests.
Health and wellbeing is an important part of people’s lives and activities are a pivotal part of our service.
The successful applicant will be responsible for developing a programme of meaningful activities for the Ladies and Gentlemen of Abbey House. You will provide some of those activities yourself, book others and support our staff in providing activities. Full induction and training will be provided.
