Registered Nurse Team Leader – Fishponds, Bristol (Graeme)
£14.36 per hour

37.5 hours per week
Graeme Close is a 16 bedded Residential Recovery Pathway service. The house is well integrated within the Fishponds community and we support people with a wide range of on-going mental health support needs.
We are seeking to appoint a Registered Mental Health Nurse with the knowledge or experiences of practicing with a Recovery Pathway approach to help the residents in their journey.
You will be expected to support the residents in a person centred way, promoting the Trust values and vision. Good communication skills are essential, as well as recent experience of support planning and strengths-based risk assessment and management.
Previous experience of supporting people with mental health difficulties and leading team working is essential.
The successful candidate should demonstrate person centred working practices including assessment and support planning and monitoring of mental health needs.
Continuing personal and professional development is important as you will be required to work as part of a committed team and take part in a training and development schedule.
You will need to be flexible with the shifts you can work which include some waking nights.
• Registered Nurse qualification and active NMC pin number
• Strong leadership skills promoting good care practice
• Be able to deputise in the manager’s absence
• Flexible, motivated, innovative, creative, enthusiastic, committed to delivering a high quality service which places service users at the heart of the practice
• Good communication skills
• Supervision of junior staff
• IT skills
