Administration Assistant Fishponds (GG)

Part Time Hours: 30 per week – Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm

Graeme Close is a 16 bedded Residential Mental Health Recovery Pathway Service that is well integrated within the Fishponds community. We support people with a wide range of mental health and dementia needs. We are seeking to appoint an experienced administration person to provide an efficient and professional office support to the home.

You will be required to be fully IT literate, able to use packages such as Microsoft and Excel, with excellent written and communicative skills, deal with telephone calls and follow up course of action, as well as dealing with day to day finance, and paperwork such as the following; minutes for meeting, assessment report, letters, updating in House Policies, Recovery Plans and risk assessments, filing and archiving

You will be expected to have person centred values and be able to demonstrate them with our client group. Previous experience of supporting people with mental health difficulties is desirable but not essential.
Continuing personal and professional development is important as you will be required to work as part of a committed team and take part in a training and development schedule.

You must be able to deliver quality support ensuring the residents’ financial needs are met, excellent communication and effective interpersonal skills are crucial in this large team.
You will also be motivated, with the ability to use initiative, be innovative, creative, enthusiastic and have good time management skills.

In your role you will be committed to supporting residents managing their finances and having them at the heart of your daily practice.
